Hands down best place for authentic Tex-Mex!!! The location is small, but the atmosphere is great! The music selection is a good variety. If it's your birthday, you have to wear a sombrero and take a shot (lol)! Their food is simply amazing! There is not one dish I have ordered that I did not like. All of their food is good! They have a good variety of drinks and they do not disappoint (hoping they will carry D'uesse soon). Plan ahead when arriving, only valet is available and sometimes it is a wait, BUT it's WORTH IT! This is forever one of my "go-to" spots!

The food portions were generous if you go on a date you can order two plates and share and there should be enough for a to go depending on how hungry you are. The food was great first off and the pricing is worth it! They started with chips and salsa which was good but don't over eat those. You have to stay ready for the main plates. I had the steak burrito which was generous and the nachos which was also good. The parking can be an issue there was a thirty minute wait when we got there at 8:00 pm which wasn't too bad they close at nine pm but give you a hour after until ten p.m to finish your dinner. The Atmosphere was great the waitress was good everything over all was great. I recommend you go I will going back.

This restaurant absolutely positively deserves five stars. If I could give it 10 stars I would. I'm pretty sure this is the best Mexican food I've ever had in my entire life. I don't know how they flavor their food specifically their queso but there's something in it that's a little different from what I usually experience at other restaurants that just makes it amazing. My skillet burrito was also HUGE. We ordered surf and turf queso first and that plus my burrito, I was definitely full and had so much left to take home and was legitimately excited to eat it the next day. Lol I also really enjoyed the service. Our waiter was extremely nice and accommodating. I even changed my drink order and he was able to accommodate me with no issue whatsoever. I also liked the vibes in there. They played really good music and it just overall had almost a lounge type of feel which I wasn't expecting from a Mexican restaurant. I think this legitimately might be my favorite restaurant in Houston now and I've only gone once...as of last night. They are not lying when they say it's the best Mexican food in Houston. Run do not walk to Dona Letis!!!

Let's talk about the first thing that stood out to me; the parking situation. There's very little self parking available, but they do offer free valet parking. Whoop whoop! Please be nice and tip tho. Ohh yeah..don't park in the Denny's parking lot unless of course you don't mind living on the edge and worrying about if you'll be towed or not, because THEY WILL TOW YOU! I can't say enough about the food. I was surprised at how good everything was. I did the dumb-dumb and couldn't stop myself from eating the guacamole, which led me to being near full before my food came out. The little bit I was able to eat before I put it in a to-go box, was on point. So yummy! The restaurant itself has a nice vibe. The music selection doesn't hurt either. You gotta go try this place out my friends!

Let me start by saying Oh my goodness! I walked in and it was completely busy with an hour and 30 minute, wait but I happily waited for the simple fact that a server named Juan, with his very busy section took the time to answer my questions. Ended up getting him as our server and it turns out it was last day of training; phenomenal service and phenomenal food. Please come here for any occasion, but expect it to be busy. Definitely on the more expensive side, but it's worth every penny! I came here on a Tuesday night. They have a taco $3 Tuesday special that I did not partake in this time, but most definitely will next time. The Hennessy margarita is really good as well, but prepare for it to be a floater if you're familiar with signature cocktails. And most importantly, great music!!! 10/10!!! Thank you guys. I will be back.

Best birria in Houston period!! Never got the hype around birria until I tasted this place. The prices seemed slightly steep at first until you see the huge portion size! I consider myself a big eater but it took a lot of effort to get through 1.5 tacos. I had the birria sampler plate another time and that was definitely worth it as well, since you get to try so much for $27. They even give some noodles in the consumé so you can get a taste of the birria ramen. Everything tasted great after heating up leftovers the next day too. The wait times can be quite long at the Washington location (I think I waited 3 hours for party of 8) but the Meyerland one was not too bad (1 hour for 8 ppl)

I loved this spot! We dined here on a Thursday evening (3/6/25) and it was busy, busy, busy!!! But we were seated in a reasonable time. Highlights: the meal portions will have you going home with a doggy bag ! The drinks, are not watered down and the atmosphere gets the weekend started just right! Cons: you may not be seated until your entire party is inside .... although parking is a nightmare, even the valet...yea, you heard correctly. But you can't really complain because it's funded by tips only!

Sooooooo............ strawberry horchata....strawberry horchata. Have you ever had strawberry horchata? Oh, you have, hmmmm. Well that may be the case but I dare say if you have not had the strawberry horchata from Doña Letis then you need to taste again and it would be like your first time having one. I love horchata a lot. That creamy sweet beverage made from rice, milk, and lots of cinnamon is top tier! So creamy! Now you take that refreshing drink and add strawberry puree and blend until smooth. Then you top it with whipped cream and a sprinkle cinnamon and you have perfection! This is a delicious drink. Very nice! I will try some of thier other drinks. I definitely was craving enchiladas when I came across this restaurant. I decided to order the biriani enchiladas with red sauce. I usually like my enchiladas with ground beef but I decided to go with the biriani meat and was pleasantly surprised at how tender and flavorful it was. It came with Mexican rice and no refried beans, which was my fault. I didn't choose the right option when ordering. Oh well. For dessert I ordered a funnel cake sprinkle with cinnamon and powdered sugar. I could have got it with fruits or sauces or cheese but the simple funnel cake was very good. Until next time...............
